I noticed a small painful cyst on my palm in the last two days. I understand CLL can cause bacterial infections on the hand. Could this be a manifestation of that? Is this indicative of a progression of the disease? How might this be treated? I have been on watch and wait since 2016. I am not currently in treatment. My lymphs are 80. WBC is 40. Neutrophyls are 7. Thank you.

Cyst on Palm
If you've had no break in your skin, then I would consider a bacterial infection unlikely to be the cause. I don't recall anyone else raising this specifically and the Related Posts haven't found any similar posts. If it continues to be painful, particularly if it becomes red and/or larger, see your doctor about what should be done. Be on the watch out for a red line moving up your arm from the cyst too, as that indicates you do have a bacterial infection causing lymphangitis, which needs quick attention.

I would get lots of boils before I started treatment. It could be a good idea to get a painful cyst checked out by your Doctor
Possibly a ganglion cyst, which they don't treat unless they are causing problems. The old approach was to smash them with a big book. Really!
If it continues to hurt, as Neil said, see your doctor. Your PC should be able to assess it.
