There’s some amazing people out there making immense sacrifices and I found myself very moved today reading about the death of the first British surgeon to die from Coronavirus, Dr. Adil El Taya. He was a transplant surgeon who had worked all over the world and said to be a wonderful human being. What a loss!
Thank you, Jackie. I worry about the lack of seeing the world in crisis--it is so close to home for each of us.
It reads America and several of the comments on the site were thinking US---it is all the world we hope will be safe and it is all the nations that have heroes standing in the gap and being vulnerable while they toil to save, treat, serve all of us.
