I have an appt for end of May at outpatients haemtology. Got a letter from them today with instructions on what to do if I feel well and stable. Phone number to ring instead of going to hospital. I`m assuming if I don`t feel well then I keep my appt. as it doesn`t say.
Blood tests to be done as usual. Doesn`t say though what to do if I`m positive for Covid 19. Face that if and when it happens I suppose.

If you don't feel well you should call them the moment you don't feel well and ask them for advice.
And let's hope you won't ever be positive for COVID-19. I am preparing for 3 months or more without no more social interaction than outdoor conversations on more than 2m (6ft) distance.
I also have haematology app for May but presume they will cancel as all my other appointments have been cancelled, understandably, but still upsetting. I’ve not received any letter or advice. Just crossing my fingers that I stay well. Hope you stay well
Give the hospital time Hazell33. Must have a lot of letters to get out. TBH I was surprised to get mine so early. My appt hasn`t been cancelled, just alternative advice if I`m feeling stable at that time. Blood tests as normal beforehand and then use the phone number provided. I`ll then get a letter and another appt.
I have an appointment for 1 April, but can't make it as I'm in another country and all flights have been cancelled. As I'm OK at the moment I've written to them cancelling the appointment if they haven't cancelled it already. My numbers have been stable at a low level for several years and I think it would be a greater risk in hospital waiting areas than having the blood test and consultation put back a few months
I am supposed to travel to Chicago midMay to see CLL specialist. I occasionally have labs locally but using the same lab every 3 months is my CLL doc’s and my preference, (her lab). No letter yet and since it’s nearly 7 weeks off I’ll wait. If need be I’ll have them locally. Can you email your doc?
