CLL under 30

Hi, I’ve seen a post about young people being diagnosed with CLL and this appears to be people in their 30’s. I’m wondering if anyone has any information on under 30’s? My boyfriend was diagnosed at 24 and from all my research this appears to be extremely rare so any information anyone has will be great. Thank you

The percentage of those developing CLL in the age bracket 20 to 34 is 0.3% in the USA, so yes your boyfriend's situation is rare:

We do have some young members, I think our youngest was diagnosed at 18. I hope that they respond.

I was diagnosed at 30 years old but probably had it when i was in my late 20s.

Can I ask what your journey has been so far? I feel like we’ve just been left to carry on with not much information or concern about how young he is.

Have you needed any treatment?

So far I am doing ok, no symptoms really. Some fatigue here and there. Still think about it often. Worried about my life expectancy to be honest. I have had no treatment so far i am still in watch & wait.
