Hi Billy,
This is a post I did 2 yrs ago with a list of insurance providers who specialise in insuring pre-existing health conditions. Hope you manage to get a reasonable quote and have a lovely time;

Many insurance companies have changed the questions regarding CLL and whether you are on treatment or not and if so which treatment.
When i first took out insurance the question was ..."have you been or about to be treated"...yes or no, .......when you ticked no you got taken to a different list of questions, if you ticked yes it asked you to pick which treatment.
Now it just asks if you are having or had treatment yes or no and they give the quote based on this answer.
Be careful when taking out an insurance policy especially if you are having or have had treatment because they load the policy excesses but they load each person named on the policy, not just the person with CLL.
I took out a policy for me and a friend to visit San Francisco last year prior to any treatment, but had to cancel 4 weeks before going due to a decline in my health and prospect of starting treatment.
When i rang to claim i was told the cost to claim was more than i had paid because of the excesses and that it was cheaper for me to just cancel the policy and get 50% of my premium back. I then cancelled the holiday with the holiday company on medical grounds and got a full refund.
Read the small print, and if you are not sure how to answer a question, ask them before you buy the policy.
I hope you get sorted and enjoy your holiday.

Agree with previous posts and found actually calling can get a better result than relying on an online questionaire which these days seem to have become far more inqusitive with some even asking for some blood test results, blood pressure range etc...
The treatment question makes it a challenge when on Ibrutinib like myself given is not like having a course of say FCR and when complete you are done so current treatment answer might be no.
Ibrutinib of course is a daily dose so they consider that treatment so the answer has to be yes which of course inflates the premium despite the fact that someone might currently be pretty stable.
