Nuttydogs, anemia can make one dizzy and CLL has that feature in many. Either her GP/PC or the hematologist can check her blood levels for anemia.
Also, there could be an imbalance related to inner ear. Having her checked by an ENT for inner ear situations would be good.
It is so important to get that checked, because of risks for falling. Hope this helps your sort what to do.
Also, if your mother is on a blood pressure med, that may need an adjustment. Sometime the meds work too well at bringing down blood pressure and make for low blood pressure, especially, in we who are older--that can make one dizzy.
Also check levels of magnesium and potassium. Incorrect levels of either can cause dizziness. Also, dehydration, which is quite common in older adults can cause it.

As you can see from all of the posts, dizzyness can be caused by many many things and should be checked first, by her regular doctor. With so many possibilities, the cause is less likely CLL and more likely something else.
I got hit with a bout of severe dizziness back in May which was attributed to Imbruvica side effects. It subsided but I still need to sit on the edge of the bed for some seconds before I get up in the morning. Otherwise I am fine.
