Anyone have jaw pain while on Imbruvica?

Jaw pain
if the bone has marrow, it will have CLL and it will sometimes hurt when the bad cells are being removed. They don't like it up 'em!
I have had pain in several joints when I started ibrutinib but not my jaw.
Is it possible that you may be grinding your teeth in your sleep. I had this pain years ago when I was really stressed.

I have been on Imbruvica for almost 3 years now and have had pain almost every where just never in my jaw. Having a Ct scan tomorrow and going to the dentist for a Panoramic X-ray also.
You are being checked out well. I have a friend who keeps having ulcers in her mouth. Her dentist has regularly sent her to be examined and they realised that she is grinding her teeth and biting her cheek at night. I was in terrible pain in my face and jaw. Caused by anxiety.
Hopefully you will find the answer tomorrow, Anne uk
Hiya!
May I ask... where exactly on your jaw is your pain?

The pain is in the joint right near the ear.
Sounds like it may be Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction. It may have another cause besides CLL. Someone mentioned grinding your teeth, chewing, or clenching down hard and knocks ball out of its socket. I got in a car accident and got this clicking and pain there and my jaw froze up when it was cold then I got headaches. An ENT doctor or dentist may be able to help if this is the problem. My just eventually went away by itself but I was much younger. I would see someone about it to make sure.
The other option is the bone pain with CLL but usually that isn’t in the joint.
TMJ for me was worse on one side but it seems to bother both sides eventually.
Anyway I wish I could help more. I just used to rest my jaw....avoid steak and talking too much.😀
Good luck.
OK - This seem unrelated to CLL and medication. It is just possible that it is a jaw joint issue and you should see your family Dr, Temporomandibular joint dysfunction is quite likely - as LovecuresCLL has suggested. I know that there are differences of opinion as how how best to treat that - IF indeed it is. Your family Dr will have seen this before. I believe there may be simple exercises that can help, so best not ignore it.
Kind regards

I have had T M J also. Mine came right after a dental cleaning where I held my mouth open for close to an hour. Eventually, the pain leaves. May take 2 days or 2 weeks.
