Thanks for the reminder, Brian.

Several folk have said (in replies to Jacksc06 ) , that they'll be there and would like to meet up. But although we can write our HU names on our badges, it's not easy to read labels, especially at a distance.

Last conference in Leeds, we said beforehand that we'd meet over lunch, but it didn't work out that way, as people had already been put on set tables and got involved in various conversations. We didn't want to appear impolite to those around them.

We don't want to look like a special "clique" but is there another way to meet up? Maybe over a tea/coffee break?

Good idea, Paula. I'm sure we can arrange something. I'll have someone make an announcement before the coffee break.

Look forward to meeting up with everyone.

I would love to come to this as missed out on the opportunity in the last ones. However I’m worried about the thought of a mass meeting given that we are being told to shield until end of June which then most probably will be extended. How would this conference be made safe for CLLers.

Hi keeptalking.

This thread is from nine months ago, so relates to the conference in Nottingham last year. All CLL Support conferences for this year have been cancelled, and we don't expect them to be reinstated until next year at the earliest.

We are partnering with our sister charity, Leukaemia Care, to replace them with video interviews with CLL specialists. The next of which is this coming Thursday, 7th May, and you may still be able to log in here:

us02web.zoom.us/webinar/reg...

or via the CLL Support website.

I hope this helps.

Stay safe
