Skin problems at end of clinical trial

Hi all, and thanks for the advice that each of you provides online, it has been very helpful to my husband and !.

I am hoping for advice about a problem my husband is experiencing while we are travelling overseas in the USA. We fly home to Australia today. He has 3 days left to go on a clinical trial for ibrutinib combined with venetoclax. The treatment has been extremely successful - he has has a complete response, blood counts and lymph nodes are normal, and bone marrow has no sign of CLL. Apart from a couple of upper respiratory tract infections, and some fatigue, he has been very well throughout the treatment.

About three days ago, he developed a rash - not too itchy. Now he has three 1cm red spots on his face. He had a slight temperature and that has gone away. He also has aching joints and muscles, which have improved.

My question is - do you think these recent symptoms are a result of the treatment? He is starting to feel better - just as well, as we have a plane to catch.
