I was diagnosed in 2008 and didn't start chemo until 2012. I'm now 64. We've been full time RVers since 2007 so I have had oncologists all over the country. Usually, I"d have three days of chemo and go into remission then a year later, my WBC's would go off the charts, I'd be anemic and have another three days of treatment...etc. My longest remission was 4 years. My last chemo was November and was supposed to do it for another 5 months but I decided not to until my counts go down again or up LOL The biggest problem I've had are skin lesions on my face and CT scans that show the cancer has left my marrow and gone into my bones. It's not not normal for CLL patients to have this but my version of the disease has always been strange. For this reason, I can tell everyone that YOUR CLL should be carefully monitored and when your onc suggests treatment, do it.

What kind of treatments did you have?💕🙏☘️
Wow that is strange. Thanks for the heads up! It almost sounds like you are on some type of maintenance chemo treatment. Like every now and then you need a tune up. I have heard of this but wasn't sure how successful it was. I guess it works for you very well. Keep hitting the road and enjoy life!
