The next place is to ask questions here in order to fine tune your knowledge before visiting the specialists. There are many of us here, and we have seen or heard almost all of it and can point you in the generally correct direction.

STAY AWAY from Dr Google. The info out there is way too out of date to be relevant and will scare the crap out of you.

Once you get over the shock, you will find that it is not so bad after all, and will be able to get on with your life by seizing every moment and every day.

Hi Jimmy! Welcome to the website and I hope you find the support you are most likely needing after the diagnosis. I was a mess for a few months after searching the internet. In the 6 years since my diagnosis, there have been huge advances in treatment so like Marie mentioned-much of the information out there is no longer relevant. JoanMary
