CLL Society Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Brian Koffman, has been honored as 1 of 4 CURE 2018 Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Heroes.
On Sunday Dec. 2, in San Diego California, in conjunction with ASH, CURE® magazine will host an annual evening of gratitude and celebration for the heroes that have made differences in the lives of people with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
Each CLL Hero is nominated by patients and caregivers for their heroic contributions in the field of chronic lymphocytic leukemia or in the individual lives of people with CLL.
Please join me in thanking and congratulating Dr. Brian Koffman!

Our own CLLCanada, aka Christopher Dwyer, is also receiving this award. Very few in the CLL world have not been helped, directly or indirectly, by him. The other two honorees are Lisa Minkove, and Dr. John Byrd.
I just went back to previous post and realized you were the one that referred me to the orange county group. I have since attended every possible meeting I can and just wanted to thank you for sharing that with me as it has been instrumental to me in my CLL journey....so thank you!
There has already been a post about this, where people have thanked Dr Brian Koffman and the other CURE CLL heroes. (So you might not get so many responses here).
But thank you for the reminder that it's actually THIS EVENING that this celebration is happening, so we can be thinking of them all later today.
