Hello,

I'm Vandana 25 year old girl. My problem is I had some sort of skin rash in the face two days back n in neck one lymph nod enlarged visibly I consulated a doctor she said maybe it's due to some bacterial infection n she gave some antibiotics but the rash is reducing but it's spreading in face n even in the evng I found another two limps nodes near the left ear and the rash is on right part of the face even my left eye is has become red. Is there anything I need to worry even I did CBC test everything is normal in that so what should I do now?

You need to go back to your doctor for further advice Vandanabasu.

Lymph nodes do enlarge in relation to infection so this is a normal response. Your WBC is normal and this is a very good sign.

This is a support site for people with or affected by a condition called Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia which has no connection with your health problem. We develop enlarged nodes for very different reasons connected to an incurable blood cancer so this isn’t the place to receive the advice you need for a temporary infectious rash.

Wishing you well as the rash must be distressing but I’m afraid we are unable to advise you on here. Seek further medical assistance if the problem continues or increases.

We understand you are worried and probably found your way here by researching enlarged lymph nodes.

I’m sure it’s something that will clear soon and nothing to worry about but do seek a further medical appointment if things get worse especially if the rash is close to your eyes. Check out with your doctor that it’s not shingles.

Best wishes,

Better speak with your Onco/ Haemotologist, and then show it to a good dermatologist.

Reason we get lots of ‘ oppurunist infection ‘ ie bacterias or viral invade our body due low immunity.

So keep alert and don’t delay and go to concerned doc asa any infection appears .

I am having recurrent lung infection and am in constant touch with Respiratory Doc who generally gives medicine after discussing with my Harmotogist as am on Ibnutrib and many medicines react with latter .

So pls consult good Derma immmediately

Vandana does not have a CLL diagnosis. See the discussion above.
