Blood work

I have just had my lab work done and my platelets are 90. RBC is high too. Hemoglobin and hematocrit is high also. Is something critical

Do you have a diagnosis of CLL? What are your actual readings? A platelet count of 90 is low but not dangerously so. There can be many causes of low platelets, such as diet, drugs and medical conditions not necessarily a blood cancer.

My platelets bottomed out at 70 last year when my remission ended. After a year of Ibrutinib it has gotten up to 120. During remission it hardly ever got above 130. Bruises are a problem and I try to be careful.
