ARQ 531 trial

Hi all,

I’ve been on the full dosage of Venetoclax since July, but it’s stopped working, so now I’ll be doing a clinical trial if ARQ-531. Is anyone here in this trial, and are you experiencing any side effects? Thanks so much! Mindy

I only know that it's a BTK inhibitor, hopefully with less off target side effects than Ibrutinib. Sorry to hear the Venetoclax stopped working, that must have been hard to hear. You seem to have been refractory to almost everything that's been tried with you.

Thanks so much. The good thing is that there seems to always be another possible treatment after each relapse, so there’s that.

I had very good success with Zydelig (idelalisib) and rituxan, after Imbruvica (ibrutinib), which was stopped due to side effects..

Zydelig (idelalisib) was being used between Imbruvica (ibrutinib) and venetoclax, now Dr. Wierda at MDAnderson is using it after venetoclax failure...

Hi Melinda. Seems like it’s been a while, but were you able to participate in the arq trial or another trial for a non-covalent btk inhibitor? Did your docs discover that you had a c481s mutation, and so thought the non covalent inhibitors would be a good try? Best.
