Bendamustine

Has anyone who took Bendamustine have their lymphocytes rise at first cycle instead of begin dropping? Also it is a little red at the vein they used to infuse me.

Certainly some patients have an absolute lymphocyte count [ALC] rise as the B cells are pushed from the nodes and spleen into the blood... counts will drop, with future rounds

Bendamstine can cause a reaction at the infusion site, you should call and advise your medical team.

ok, I looked for if this could happen but couldn't find it and my doc didn`t call me on it. Had rise when on ibrutinib and zydelig but that was listed. I do hope they go down. I had some stinging sensation when saline when in but nurse said my line was good, I had them keep it in overnight since infusion only 2 days. Unfortunately I don`t have too many vein options. If I would have had my 8 years of blood draws on my hands I could have spared my veins in my elbows. They chose a large vein on my forearm. Most of my visible surface veins are disappearing I fear.
