Coated tongue

This may seem an unusual question but does anyone else suffer from a tongue that is coated in what appears to be “putty”. Despite stringent mounts hygiene the colour can change to dark brown too. My case may be a little different because my condition was Pesticide induced. They are happily slinging in on the fields (l can hear them from my garden) as l write this. Would love to know if l am alone with this?

Thank you for your reply. No it’s not that have cancelled that out thank goodness! The Dentist was “pushed” to admit (because discussion in 🇬🇧 is totally banned on this topic! Government down!) that it is probably my on-going exposure to pesticides (Roundup) which is why l am doing all l can to move! Thank you for responding!

Yeah there are studies which indicate organophosphorus is an increased risk of CLL in a farm or occupational use setting, but no causation has beem proven, that I have read.

The Epilymph study, well worth reading

I only have access to abstract of that link,If you can post the full article, I would be grateful.

I found a meta-analysis based on agricultural studies:

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

While all of us have had some exposure to pesticides and herbicides, it sounds to me like the danger is in daily exposure due to having jobs applying the chemicals, and not through the food chain or ambient air - even the country air.

There's also a dose relationship. though it's not clear if a single high exposure is better or worse than long term exposure at a lower dose, and if so, what doses?

The above article was cited by Vani Hari (aka FoodBabe), and is reviewed somewhat in this excellent article:

factcheck.org/2017/08/glyph...

Their take is that FoodBabe exaggerates the cancer risk significantly.

Nevertheless, I would want to know the exact chemicals being applied near my house irrespective of CLL, and the amounts and dilutions, if any. Then do the arithmetic. You would need that information to contact doctors and an attorney to build any sort of case for damages. Many chemicals and natural substance are non-carcinogenic, but may affect asthma and other aspects of physiology.

The devil is in the details - and also in the explanation of the details.

Hi Chloe2057,

I for one think Roundup should be banned. Hopefully in the future it will be proven to be dangerous to humans and no longer used.

It certainly needs to be done. In the UK there is a “blanket of secrecy” drawn over the whole issue by the British Government who said to 500 Farmers who were refusing to use it “We need you to grow more food with larger yields” They took it to the Supreme Court, won the case then on Appeal by Public Health England the Farmers were instructed to carry on using it! More worrying (if that is possible) is that the mighty Monsanto have just been bought out by Bayer who have produced a stronger version of Roundup called Liberty Link which is due to be used shortly, if it isn’t being used already. The more l discover from reliable sources (ie Research Scientists both in 🇬🇧 and 🇺🇸) the more horror l uncover. The more deaths l get to hear of from various forms of cancers and other equally appalling conditions in both animals and humans the more disgusted and totally horrified and out of control l feel with the British Government and their lack of care for the people!

It seems like thrush to me. I am a nurse and see this all the time. It is a overgrowth of yeast that even babies get. It is usually harmless except sometimes food starts not being appetizing or you can also get a sore throat. It happen when our immune system is not strong. A nystatin rinse a couple of times a day for a week or two should work. This is a rinse that, I believe, needs a prescription as I have never seen it on drug store shelves.
