Mom with shingles...should I be concerned?

Hi, I am a caregiver for my 87 year old mother, who is in good physical health otherwise. She was recently diagnosed with a mild case of shingles. One doctor says no worries, my oncologist says to stay away from her. I really cannot find a definitive answer anywhere. Help? I have not had direct contact with the blisters. Thanks!

You have CLL? Keep the blisters covered on your mother, and don't come in contact with weeping fluid...

Obvious don't share towels etc...
