Hi everyone after several consultations with my centre of care and a second opinion I am going for FLAIR screening permitting.

Treatment needed now was difficult for me to accept as I have no symptoms and feel great.

My genetic tests so far are good 17p non deleted still waiting for IgVH.So first line treatment with FCR is also an option.

Just wanted to update and thank everyone on this site for the education support and advice I have received. I will keep you all informed of my progress and continue offering my help to others when I can.

Thank you all stay well

Ann

So glad the decision is made now Ann as I know you've agonised over the options. Glad the biomarkers look good and very best wishes going forward. Please keep us updated.

Thank you Newdawn I am relieved just hope I get through the screening. I will restrict in future. Thinking of changing my name just worried people would not connect the old me to the new.

I'm glad you've opted to have screening for FLAIR. I think it offers the best options for first line treatment that are unavailable otherwise and if you're allocated FCR then you're no worse off than before. You'll be well looked after and monitored in a trial, with good follow up too.

Let us know which treatment you're allocated

Sending best wishes

Thank you that's exactly what I thought. I am keeping everything crossed. Hope I get on the trial.
