Feeling scared, nervous, you name it.....

Hi Everyone

Well we didn't wait 2 weeks for hubbys MRI and CT scans., it is exactly a week tomorrow and he will have both at the Churchill tomorrow evening.

I just hope that there is no further spread of the cancer from his colon. We are due to see the CLL team Thursday afternoon so whether they will be able to give us the results I'm not sure.

Making myself sick with worry etc. Just want to get these tests over with and then know what we are up against.

Blood tests on Wednesday and will get those results definitely on Thursday, that I am sure of.

Will let you know results etc as and when we get them.

I had a feeling they'd arrange the scans much more quickly Susie. Thinking of you both and wishing your husband well for a really good outcome. Unfortunately nobody and nothing can take the waiting worry away but stay strong and know we are all there for you.

Best wishes,

Newdawn

Try not to worry. Try and do something you love to do no matter how simple. Have a nice glass of wine, take a hot bath just something to help you look at the glass half full and not the reverse. will be saying a prayer for you guys.

Susie I will be in the same waiting area as you today (Thursday), hoping you get some positive news and reassurance from the team that they can help and give your husband the treatment he may need.

Hope your appointment goes well and you come out with a smile, like we have done previously until last week. Our appt is at 3.50 so it will certainly be an interesting appointment. Not sure if they will tell us about recent development although they have asked us to bring along any reports we have.....so we shall see.

We are in the Day Treatment Unit at midday ... then clinic appointment at 4.30

We are getting the biopsy report from my husband having is spleen removed just over 2 weeks ago.

Sadly we know the prognosis is not good but hoping for some extra time together with a better quality of life than we have had over the past few months.

I really do hope that they can help your husband Susie, the team are so caring and offer the best care available anywhere in the country.

Keeping you in my thoughts.
