Srdh, don't concern yourself about finding some of the terms baffling...it's complex stuff and we've all been on a very steep learning curve.

Five years ago, before I was thrown head first into the world of blood cancers, I thought Lymphocytosis was the name of some alien world on Star Trek!

I was just about to post Chris's incredibly useful glossary.

I would not rush to try to come to terms with many, use the links Chris (cllcanada) added as needed.

btw, thank you for putting your country in your profile, it helps when we are talking to each other as there can be different implications according to your country (e.g. who controls drug approval - (fda for USA, nice for UK).
