Amazing fighter.
Wow! A dad to be proud of. He's clearly got a great will and a strong resolve after all those trials at his age. Long may he survive and I hope the longevity and determination is in the genes!
Wishing him well for this latest battle and you too in your support of him.
Newdawn
Thank you! He is such a strong person..stubborn even! Dr phoned me 3 years ago to say he wouldn't survive more than 6 months! He's had 4 bouts of pneumonia twice with sepsis..they think he may have pneumonia ATM. His carcinoma surgery 2 weeks ago knocked him for six..again we wondered if this was the end..he was in pain ...he has a graft on his scalp with 20 plus staples and part of his outer ear has been removed..all done with local anaesthetic! A few days ago on painkillers iv AB's full oxygen mask too weak to walk... Today sitting in a chair tucking into meatballs and potatoes, apple tart and custard, with instructions that I've to get his cleaner to change his bedding for him getting home!!
Sounds very much like how my dad was!
I had pneumonia and sepsis in March this year and know it knocks the stuffing out of you but he can give me many decades! Good for him and hope he gets home soon.
Ouch for the graft and staples!
Respect...tell him he's a CLL Warrior and we salute him!

Thank you! Dr's have been so good to him. He's been happy to try whatever they offer him, but so glad they're doing all they can to keep him going. It's taught us that while treatment is important, a person's will to survive is paramount. He just never gives up!
i love that Newdawn - WARRIOR!!!
Blimey. Go dad! He sounds like my mum. I often sing to her 'I get knocked down but I get up again. Aint never gonna keep me down' 😀😀😀😀
