Here are some previous posts on RSO and cannabis. As you will read, while cannabis may have promise in reducing nausea during treatment and possibly pain, there are far better candidates for slowing the progression of CLL than cannabis derivatives:
I am not sure about the situation in the USA but here in the UK if there was a better cheaper way the NHS and NICE wold be pushing for its wholesale adoption since it would save them money. But if it does not cost you anyhting and it can be shown to do no harm I do not see the harm. I pray, and my Faith ticks those two boxes.
If however there is a price tag attached I would look for the clinical evidence, the trials information and be very wary since there evidently some who prey on us in our vulnerability.
My son sent me a bottle because he thought it would help. I asked my oncologist about it and he said there is no credible proof that it works. I don't want anything to interfere with the Ibrutinib so I don't use it.
Hi Gina.my name is Barbara and I live in Massachusetts. I was diagnosed 3 years ago. I'm very interested in homeopathy and I try different things and see how it affects my next blood test. I have a medical marijuana license. And I started taking cbd oil. I also have been drinking Matcha green tea with green powder and I purée whole organic lemons with a little water and ginger freeze it in ice cube trays and and 1 to my green drink every day. I was pleased that my last blood test didn't get any worse as it usually does. I did tell the specialist and he said interesting. I'm just eating a clean diet and doing what I can to decrease inflammation in my lymph nodes. It's my body and I'll do what I can naturally until the day comes that I need treatment. Everyone is different but I'm finding it helps. I wasn't a weed person either but you can get edibles and vaping is with oil is also what I do. Best of luck!
Thank you so much. I don't like the wait and see while the nodes in my neck are swelling and I feel bad. my wbc is still under 35k but times I feel like it must be worse. hot lemon water helped get my bloodwork back in order, everything but lymph and wbc.
The pi l seems to need to be ingested in a large amount, I am going to research more but I will try it. stay strong!
Gina...your inquiry certainly has grabbed my interest as I am currently using RSO. Since I'm a 70 yr. old with CLL and quite the neophyte at the marijuana game, I purchased a vial at a state regulated and "organic" dispensary for $35.00. I had a consultation and was told to place the amount of a half a grain of short-grain rice under my tongue and hold it there a bit before swallowing. Just the tiniest dab. On the way home, I thought.."this is strange, but I'll play along for a bit...heck, I do neem, green tea and endless supplements, so why not give this a whirl!" I used a toothpick and squeezed a pinhead sized amount and under the tongue it went...I couldn't even feel it there. An hour later, it hit me like a brick wall and luckily, I didn't have to drive anywhere as my equilibrium and perception were skewed for a few hours. So I've cut back to a pinhead size droplet. I was told that the body gets used to it and after a week, increase the dosage to a full grain size. Gina, his stuff is potent and I'll use up the vial (it'll probably last me 2 months). At that time I'll reassess and see how I feel...I'm just not fond of being "high" a few hours a day for my health...I like to take life "straight up."
I wish you the best and hope that your decisions enhance your well-being.
