Odd to see this listed as something new. Seven years ago the cold cap (UK) was available for women undergoing chemo for breast cancer. My wife turned it down and opted for clippers to anticipate the inevitable followed by a scarf.

Several women there suffered quite a bit from the intense cold, the most common complaint being cold induced headaches.
