With many anti-cancer drugs taken orally, it's up to patients to comply with prescribed regimens. But, what happens if they don't?

One fourth of all cancer patients who take oral drugs, a third admitted to not always following their doctor's directions and half reported having forgotten to take their medicine.

Complying with prescribed regimens is extremely important for maximum effectiveness. Unfortunately, with all the good intentions in the world, doing so is often not helped by the side effects, particularly nausea. We've had a couple of posts lately regarding the importance of this with Ibrutinib - an oral drug:
