I'm on my 6th week of imbruvica.....my red blood count is anemic.....how long does it take before the body starts making red blood cells?

Anybody have or had the same problem.....tired as hell all the time....thanks my friends !

It is hard to estimate how soon your red blood cell count will increase. I am also on imbruvica but my hemoglobin is with normal range. My platelets remain low and my spleen remains enlarged. Have been on imbruvica for 6 weeks and my fatigue has not improved and my lymphocyte count has only increased slightly (which as you know is expected).

How are you feeling now? I see that you had anemia while still on imbruvica?

Please let me know. My husband is on imbruvica and has anemia.
