Hi All

So just under one month before the easy part London 2 Paris I am so looking forward to this and in total just under 8k raised people keep telling me this is fantastic amount and it is but I think as long as there is CLL it will never be enough.

I'm sending you a huge cyber round of applause Julian because it's difficult enough fundraising but raising money for something that touches you so personally without people knowing the significance must be doubly challenging.

Hoping the London to Paris ride is enjoyable and rewarding. Well done you! (And all the others who give of their time and effort).

Is the London to Paris cycle ride in October?

Congrats on raising such a huge amount of money.

Wish I could come along in one of your panier bags!

Hi Marisa

Thank you, as I have CLL I am quite motivated to do something about it or atleast try.

6-10th June, 1 month to go and can't wait. I have my 6 monthly blood test on the 13th May then it's all go for Paris.

In spirit I could pop you in the saddle bag deal ?

Best wishes

Julian

Presume you will be overnighting in a hotel? Do the organisers arrange that? Will you cycle back or go by Eurostar. How many miles do you cy cle each day?

Don't forget to make a video diary as you go along!

Hi Marissa

It is an organised event by Leukaemia and Lymphoma research there are four groups of 75 riders various speeds.

The event is over 4 days, Day 1 Greenwich Park London to Calais 80 miles. Day 2 Calais to Abbeville 76 miles. Day 3 Abbeville to Beavaris 66 miles and then Day 4 Beauvaris to Paris 60 miles we arrive near the Arc de Triomphe and finnish at the Eiffel Tower

Hotels are booked each night with a Gala dinner on the evening we are in Paris all food is paid for as I am Cycling on my own I will be paying extra for a single room supplement.

This fundraising trip is all funded by myself and all money raised got to the Charity there is no if you get so much sponsorship the trip is paid for this is not one of those events every penny is for the Charity.

We will then return on Monday via Eurostar and are bikes will travel back in a Vehicle over land. I di toy with the idea of Cycling back but Holiday time does not allow this.

Best wishes

Julian

Total to date is 8022.47 pounds and still a month to go.

Hi, disappointed that I didn't win anything in the tombola or the raffle but really pleased at the amount you raised. Wishing you all the best for the ride and your CLL journey

What a fantastic amount raised at your stall. Well done! I've helped at many a fund raising stall over the years and to raise such an amount is no mean achievement.

Good luck with your cycling trip: hope you've got a comfy saddle.
