The link below is to an interesting rebuttal of common vaccination myths which was just published on "The Conversation", an Australian based independent source of news and views, sourced from the academic and research community.
Relevant to us:
"The other important factor about community immunity is it protects those who, for whatever reason, can’t be vaccinated or are not fully vaccinated. This includes very young children, immunocompromised people (such as cancer sufferers) and elderly people."
Or, as is the case for many of us, don't generate antibodies from the vaccination.
