My son is 4 and Half had his kasai when he was 4 weeks old, Has Portal Hypertension and Grade 1 varices but no banding. Saw a bit of blood with his Poo today in the morning, since then wiped his bum but no blood. Waiting for him to pass stools again to check for blood. Anyone had this experience, please share

Many thanks

Hi there, the best advice I can give is, if you are worried contact your doctor or your little boys paediatrician. Every child is different and although they may have the same condition their symptoms will not always present the same.

I hope everything works out well and do keep us informed.

With my very best wishes

Thanks Jacquie , we are taking him to the hospital to get his bloods done to be on the safer side. Just wanted to check if someone had similar experiences.

That's good
