Diagnosis Day.

Today the biopsy results came back.. biliary atresia is the cause of all this......

Tiffany will come home tonight then be back up kings next week for her Kasai. We just hope and prey everything goes right for our baby girl x

Sending best wishes at this scary time. The team at kings really are amazing and she will be in the best hands. Blake is now 2 and doing so well... Yet I remember the uncertainty that comes with diagnosis and the best advice I was given was to enjoy your baby. It is so easy to become consumed by it all but you have to trust the professionals and be there for each other as a family. Really hope and pray that all goes well next week. X

Try to enjoy your time as a family. I know you probably want to hide away and grieve this news. We always give ourselves 24 hours to cry, scream and feel sorry for ourselves then make ourselves do what's normal for us as a family. Take loads of photos doing normal family things and live life with BA not a BA life.

Keep your little one well hydrated, stick strictly to the med regime and above all spoil her with cuddles.

The kasai is a scary time. It took over a week before we got seaweed! Whatever the future holds stay strong and trust in yourselves.

I've seen Tiffany's photo on liver mums and she is beautiful!

So scary.. hope you are all doing ok. Freya is 9 now after Kasai at 5 weeks, and full of beans..we have learnt to take one day at a time x
