Hi everyone. I'm the project researcher for a piece of research looking at what it is like to be a young person living with liver disease. aston.ac.uk/about/news/rele...

A huge thank you to everyone who has taken part so far!

I am still interviewing at the moment and would love to hear from any 14 - 17 year olds with any type of liver disease and their parents/carers.

The interview is an opportunity to discuss a wide range of topics such as moving to adult services, the impact of liver disease on wider social life, any difficulties you may have encountered and your positive experiences. The interviews can be arranged at a time/date to suit you and can take place face to face, over the telephone or via Skype. So if you're free one evening after work with around an hour to spare - even then an interview can be arranged.

You may have met me a few months ago at Birmingham Children's Hospital, Queen Elizabeth or in Leeds. If would like the information pack emailed to you please contact me on bashirs6@aston.ac.uk and I would be more than happy to send it so you can decide if you wish to take part.

Look forward to hearing from you all soon!

Many thanks,

Shahreen Bashir
