It is in the news every where. Good news for some!
One advantage is, may be one can try small quantity/dosage to get the correct medication brand and the dosage by bypassing GP surgery reception!

How will those buying statins direct from a pharmacy access the regular liver function tests which are/were required for those people taking statins on prescription?
The only advantage is for the pharmaceuticals to make more money. They offer no benefit to the patient!
