Thanks for taking the time
Hi
I have appointment with nurse about elevated cholesterol, I don't have any figures yet but they say it has only risen a little. I already exercise and eat healthy, I'll see what they have to say.
The running is doing it for you though, that's great, would be interesting to see how it goes for you in the future. I hope it continues to drop.
I come from the land where Game of Thrones is made, I see you are a fan.
That’s exactly how they affected me when I was given them years ago. After just a few days of taking them my legs just wouldn’t seem to work, I could barely walk and I felt very depressed and hopeless. I knew nothing about the side effects back then either so I wasn’t influenced.
I gave them up within the week. When I got home from that holiday I did a lot of research and decided I wasn’t going to take them again - ever.
Well done on lowering your cholesterol by running.
Thank you and thanks for replying
I started taking statins 3 days ago and feel absolutely dreadful. I am overweight and have high blood pressure. Feeling like this has given me the kick I need to sort my lifestyle out.
Thank you. Very interesting read.
I had severe left rotator cuff pain and developed frozen shoulder when I was on statins in 2015. I stopped taking them in 2016 and my pain and my problems resolved.
I changed my diet and lifestyle and now have normal lipids. Higher than doc prefers but I am not concerned.
