After quitting statins because of severe leg pain I went to Welchol and had the same problem. I then went to the injection method with Repatha now, after six weeks it appears my leg pain is returning with a vengeance. (Leg pain did go away after quitting the other drugs). I'm at a loss as it appears I am unable to tolerate any cholesterol lower drugs. I am choosing to live without leg pain come what may. Has anyone else experienced leg pain with Repatha?

Hi, yes I have tried all the Statins but all give me leg pain so GP has told me statins are’nt for me I have total cholesterol of 7.2 LDL is just over 5 and HDL is just over 1 needless to say i’m really worried. I have now got creamy coloured patches on and around my eyelids the eye unit asked if I had cholesterol and that was the end of that no explanation at all does anyone know what this is called and why we get it.
Your leg pain, right leg or left leg?
Lower leg or upper leg?
Sitting down or walking or standing?
Did you have any accident that can give leg pain?
Thanks.
I.m bowing out of his discussion. Dont need the drama.
Wow that got out of hand. Really uncalled for.
If you haven't already done so, you should modify your diet and lifestyle to address your cholesterol and CAD. The Mediterranean Diet is considered the best diet for health. You should also walk daily for at least 30 minutes and ideally up to 60 minutes, if you are able to.
Make these dietary and lifestyle changes immediately:
Avoid all sugars, simple carbohydrates and processed foods.
Increase your intake of legumes, vegetables, fruits, avocado, nuts and seeds, and have cold-water fish such as salmon, 2-3 days per week.

Good luck.
