Multivitamins do nothing for your heart health and don't prevent heart attacks, study finds

•Researchers at the University of Alabama at Birmingham looked at data on 2,000 people over 12 years

•The scientists found supplements had no impact at all on heart health

•They warn multivitamins may stop people from dropping bad habits that do affect heart health because they think are doing something good.

i would think that the tiny amounts in multivitamins would have no effect. In therapeutic dose amounts I think Vit D,Magnesium and Niacin (among others) can have huge benefits. In my case Niacin has lowered my LP(a) by 30% and raised HDL by 100% , both things I was told by my GP could not be changed.
