Not all visible differences ..... are visible

It may seem strange, but not visible differences are visible.

I am sure all here either has a visible difference or has a close relation or partner who does. And we worry about those visible differences, of course we do. We endure the stares, we often modify our behaviour to accomodate the ignorance of others (remind me again why we should?). We worry about what life would like would be without those marks that we can see.

But what about those amazing marks that we can't?

I know that since I married, I'm not the same man I was when I was single. Love leaves a mark on you, not a visible one, but very visible in how it changes your life, your outlook and your wellbeing.

Family is another love. And for both me and my wife, animals are too.

All leave behind on you little marks that you can't see, they make us better and more rounded people. We forget that they are there, and perhaps it takes others to see them in us.

But we all have little invisible marks of life and love on us somewhere, for others to treasure. Remembering that they are there is the key.
