Four tips on self-care

Self care is taking an active role in the practice of improving your own health and protecting your own wellbeing. If you are feeling tired or lack energy, worry a lot or feel anxious, avoid social situations or can’t remember the last time you had fun, it might be a sign that you need to practise self-care.

Here are four tips taken from our new self-help material to help people practise self-care:

Prioritise activities you enjoy

It’s ok to say “no” without feeling guilty

Eat healthily, drink more water and wear what makes you feel good

Allow yourself to relax, rest and get some sleep

Do you have any tips you would like to add to this list? For more on self-care visit changingfaces.org.uk/advice...
