Morning everyone, and, as usual a special welcome to anyone who has joined the community during the last week. You are very welcome here, whether you want to join in, or just observe, but we do love to hear from you all.

Another welcome, this time welcome back, to a longer-standing member, Afrohair. Good to hear from you and read about how things are going. I'm so pleased you've got a good strategy going in caring for your mum.

How did you all do over the weekend. Mine was as quiet as could be. I really felt like having a restful time. I came home from visiting Northleach whilst on holiday, with a bagful of doll's house accessories, and planned to fling the dolls house doors wide and have a session with that, now that the evenings are drawing in. (It's really my winter hobby). Anyway, I did hardly any after discovering that the naughty Kasar had chewed through some of the wiring that works the lights. It's the second time, and I'm now working on plan B, to use concealed lighting strips, battery run, with all the wiring inside! Grrrrr!

Anyway, the dolls house place in Northleach was amazing. Run by a real collector of some age, it's a treasure trove of both new and second hand houses, furniture and figures.

I was also moved to re-watch 'This Country' again, having now seen where its characters were filmed for all the series.

Hope you are all OK and managing the stresses and strains of Caring which must be extra challenging during this pandemic!

Wishing you all a great week! 🌸💖🌈😊

Hi Callendersgal, glad you had a peaceful weekend and hope you find a solution to the lighting problem in the dolls house courtesy of Kasar. Naughty boy!

Great to hear from Afrohair again and sending good wishes her way. Nice to re-connect.

We enjoyed time spent with our granddaughter yesterday. She turned 6, such a lovely age. It seems like yesterday her dad was that same age. Time passes too quickly.

We’re doing well here and staying as safe as possible. It’s really interesting having to work out the best way to connect with family whilst keeping to the required 6. We manage though and so far, so good.

Have a good week everyone. Xxxxx

Kasar is a very spoilt boy!

He is the Bengal equivalent of our very spoilt ginger tabby baby!
