Now I feel I'm really back from my holiday as I sit to write my end of week catch-up with everyone! The laundry's all done and put away and I've enjoyed sinking into my own bed every night. My holiday bed was absolutely lovely and comfy, but not my own, and it does make a difference!
It's been a traumatic few days, which I always have on my return, thanks to Kasar the cat.
We're not sure why, but every time he's visited the cattery he treats us to around three days of caterwauling, so loud that we can hardly hear ourselves thinking! His yowls punctuate every conversation and during phone calls the other party often laughs nervously and asks 'is that a kitty in the background?' Not really, more of a bad tempered, spoiled, noisy and irritating creature who won't shut up!
Thankfully this trial is now all but over with only the odd complaint kitty complaint.
I hope all of you have had the best week possible. I don't know about you, but now it really feels to me that autumn is in the air!

Hi sassy59, II'm pleased you had a good week and I hope your weekend's enjoyable too. It really is concerning about the rise in covid19 cases and I have this sense of rushing to try to do things and see people, in case we have to go into lock-down again. I guess what will be will be, and we'll have to cope with it. And at least we have a little more information to work with this time, so hopefully things won't be quite as desperate as first time around! Take care and love and hugs in return. xxx 💖🙏😊👍
Yes I feel the same about seeing people but I’m sure it will all be ok, when? Who knows.
Seeing granddaughter tomorrow as she will be 6. The three of them will come here and we, along with youngest son, make up the magic number of 6. It’s taken some juggling but everyone will get to see the birthday girl.
