Quotation for Saturday 30th May 2020

Hi everyone,

Throughout the coronavirus crisis I've seen some lovely pet pictures posted on HealthUnlocked, and I think it's a certainty that many pets have played a big part in helping to get us through it, especially those who have had to face social isolation alone.

So today's quote is in honour of our pets.

In fact, I've got two for you, simply because most people seem to opt to comment on either cats or dogs.

I think all pets can bring great comfort in all sorts of situations, and when you are all alone and feeling blue a pet can bring that warm comfort which just says "I'm here for you."

Thank you for two lovely quotes this sunny Saturday. I have very fond memories of our cat Tessa who we lost aged 19 nearly three years ago. Our pets bring great comfort to us so thanks again for the appropriate quotes.

Our Kcat was euthanased 2weeks ago.

We do miss her,as she had such a personality

When she went,she was still eating and drinking ,but the tumour was too big.

Strangely,what has given us comfort s a card from the vet with forget me not seeds and another card from the pet crematorium.

Oh Oshgosh, I'm so sorry. It's such a heartbreaking decision to have to make and I'm sure you must be missing her desperately. I really feel for you. But what an absolutely wonderful thing for your vet to have done. I hope that, little by little, you will get over your sad loss and I know you'll keep Kcat in your heart forever! 🙏

The vet has been so good.

I was upset when I realised I wouldn’t be able to go in with her.

He offered to being her out afterwards. We waited in the car,he brought her out wrapped in her towel with her paw behind her ear (default position.)

He said her heart was still beating,she would de in the next few minutes.

So she fed in my arms,which was good for her and for me,as she’s got older and. Creaky,she hadn’t appreciated a lot of cuddles.
