Quotation for Wednesday 8th April 2020

Good morning everyone,

Today I'm returning to my dear old Karma Bear for some inspiration. (For those who don't know of him, he's the subject of a little book I've owned for years with some positive thoughts on how to get through life).

He says, "The greatest good you can do for others is not just to share your riches, but to reveal to them their own"

Praise! It's so important isn't it? It can instantly lift us to hear how well we've done, even in simple things. We give praise to children all the time. But often we take for granted the small things that are done for us by adults. It can make such a difference to someone's day, if we remember!

That’s a great quote Callendersgal and so very true.

I hope all is well with you. We’re fine here and spoke to our youngest son yesterday by video call. It was good to see him and have a chat. He’s missing us all so it will be good to see him properly when all this is over.

Enjoy your day. Xxxx

Hi sassy59,

Glad to hear from you and to know you are still fine. Me too and my daughter's now at last beginning to feel better. It's day 8 so hopefully that means the virus will now be on the run. That's a relief! She too was saying last night that she's missing us and it will be so strange not to be able to see each other over Easter. We had a late celebration last year for several reasons and she'd brought down a gift of daft little bits and pieces, Easter chicks and a couple of light-up balloons, and some candles which I kept as it was when Easter was over. So I have those to cheer me up to mark the season, and then like you, can only look forward to being together when this is finally over. Hope you enjoy the rest of today, and continue to look after yourselves. 🦋🌸

Great news about your daughter. So pleased she’s doing better. Our daughter knows a couple and their two children who have all had it. The mum is still recovering. In the absence of testing they can’t be 100% certain it was Covid-19 but it sounds like it.

You will be with your daughter at some point soon hopefully but it’s good you have the bits and pieces plus memories to get you through.

Enjoy the rest of your day too.

Stay safe and well. Xxxx🌹🥰
