Good morning everyone and welcome to Feel Good Friday,
Some weeks it seems are busy with lots of things to do in the calendar while others somehow seem to settle down to a much quieter pace. It’s good if we can learn to refresh our batteries and enjoy some of the slower ones.
How has your week gone? Do let us know the good and the not so good moments.
Perhaps you could also share with us whatever you are planning to do over the weekend?
If the forecasts are right it's going to be a really hot one!
Best wishes

Hello MAS_Nurse, a quiet week this week which is nice. We’re doing a bbq tomorrow afternoon and our daughter is coming round with our grandsons. May put the paddling pool up.
Have a peaceful weekend everyone. Xxxx
Hi MAS_Nurse,
It's true that some weeks seem to be action packed with things you have to do, and others, thank goodness, allow us a bit of respite.
This week's been quite good to me. I've waded through quite a lot of admin chores, and had my husband home with me for four days, as he works night duty on a 4 night on and 4 night off schedule. So we've spent some pleasant time out and about.
Tuesday evening was the 'ceilidh' evening at our Scottish Country Dance group after which we now stop for the months of July and August as members are often going away on holidays. So that was a fun evening. We always take along some nibbles to have at half time with our cuppa, and everyone gets to choose their favourite dances. That produces some glee and some groans as some dances are way more popular than others.
Anyway, it went really well.
Whilst everyone else gets ready for the weekend, my husband's preparing for a return to night duty tomorrow night, and I'm gearing up for a weekend of crafting and reading.
So, I can definitely say that this week's been blessed for me and I hope it's been (and will be the same over the coming weekend,in some measure,) for everyone else.
Had a lovely day today. We went to the church garden party and we were super blessed with sunshine. Lots of stalls and I bought a lovely picture of Poppies for my Daughter. I knew she would love it. Also managed to win a bottle of Port.
My Grandaugter was in the choir and we enjoyed the singing.
Also at long last booked a five day holiday on the coach. Keeping my fingers crossed my Husband will cope with it but after many years of driving all over the country I have decided I am just too tired at the moment to do five hour drives. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
