Hello JeffAjaxSmith
Thank you for your message. It seems that Your Dad's council will have worked his personal budget out on an individual assessment for him.
You can get more information at nhs-uk/conditions/socialcare.
The topics and pinned posts might also have more information.
Our members may have some personal experience that they can share with you.
Let us know how you get on.
Take care and best wishes
Hi MAS NURSE I think have idea how it’s going to go .. we already argued about there idea and ours
600 seems demisery for someone’s care for a year.
Hi JeffAjaxSmith
Your local council is responsible for your dad's personal budget and the reason it's given that title is because it's worked out on an individual basis for him. So other people may appear to be in a very similar situation, but might be allocated more or less than your dad.
If you don't understand the way your dad's budget has been worked out, or feel it may not be correct, you should take it up directly with your council. You are certainly entitled to understand how they reached the figure they did.
If you aren't sure how to contact the relevant department, I'm sure your nearest Citizens' Advice Bureau would be able to help steer you in the right direction.
Very best wishes.
