Just asking this for future ref, as I have a relative who has just been diagnosed
Hi Laura, Alzheimer’s is the most common cause of dementia so they are similar. Symptoms range from memory loss, confusion, anxiety and repetitiveness. Everyone is different though and each sufferer is an individual.
I wish your relative well. Xxx
Hello and good morning Laura. Welcome to this very caring and supportive community.
Each person is an individual and therefore their experience will differ slightly from others.
However Sassy59 is correct with some of the symptoms. There are some very interesting 'pinned posts' on your screen that you may like to look at. Also the Alzheimer's Society has support groups in many areas around Britain and a national dementia helpline. The details are below. Please stay with this community as they provide a wealth of knowledge, support and helpful suggestions. Good luck to you and your family member.
