Help please! How do I find a painter who is, in some way, vetted to work with vulnerable elderly people in Northern Ireland?

I have come back from a visit. The person I distance care for has had a lot of work done on the heating system and needs one room painted and where all the pipe work was boxed in.

The local library doesn't have any information and age Northern Ireland website gives no hints either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ask Age Concern if they know of anyone. Do they have any 'trusted traders' in the area or does the council run a scheme for approved traders?

Age Concern has changed its name to Age UK or Age NI.
