Good morning, how are you all, and how has your week been? Do let us know the good and not so good moments. The next week will be half term for many of us. Have you planned some days out or are you going away? Whatever you are doing, we hope you have a lovely time.
We are busy decorating and I am planning a little afternoon tea next week, so I will be doing lots of baking. I am doing more baking these days and really enjoy this. I tried to make pancakes on Tuesday. They weren't perfect, but they were better than the last time I made them!! I may improve with practice!! It is a lovely sunny day today. Have a lovely week and please do share how you are doing and let us know if there is anything we can do to support you.
Thank you and best wishes

I am interested in knowing the meaning of "half term." I assume it is used in the U.K. As an American, I am always interested in what is happening in the U.K.
Hi jaykay777 and welcome to the forum. In the UK half term is one week's holiday in the middle of each of the three school/college terms. I don't think universities in the UK have half term holidays, though. Thank you and best wishes.
