Bumpy bubble wrap skin

Hi can anyone help me with my skin complaint, it's on both cheeks and has been like this for about 4 years now....

Could it be rosacea? Is it red? You should check it out with your GP

Hi lady north, no it's not red it's normal skin tone and doesn't change at all? It looks a bit like a a nettle rash but isn't sore or itchy, just plain ugly

I have no doubt you will still be beautiful but you should still get it checked out. If your GP doesn't have an answer insist on being referred to a dermatologist - my own experience tells me GPs are sadly lacking in anything more than the general. Good luck - please let me know how you get on.

Is it usually red, with some bumpy texture but no pimples that gets worse in sunlight. If so, it could be a symptom of Lupus. Worth going to get a diagnosis from the doctor though. If it is, an anti-inflammatory diet might help. I've changed my diet to being dairy and gluten free and my very long term psoriasis has cleared up
