Although I am using steroid cream, it seeme a long road and I would be interested if there is another treatment

Hi Frappet, you might want to take a look at the following LS info (see the links below). DermNet covers the full range of treatment options - alternative treatments include: calcipotriol cream, topical and systemic retinoids (acitretin), and systemic steroids. Less common treatments are tacrolimus and pimecrolimus creams, and photodynamic therapy.

Hi Frappet, I also had to use Dermovate cream on my Lichen Sclerosis. However I only needed to use it for a couple of months every day and now only rarely as it flares up.

Tank you for your reply, I have used Dermovate for 11 weeks but it has not helped at all, I am waiting for a biopsy at the moment but feel a bit alone with it all as my GP says that there is nothing stronger I can use Nd it will be a long haul. Also not all my symptoms match as described on the net as mine is very sore in some places and like ulcers in other areas and my bottom feels like I have sat in a bed of nettles. I feel that I am fighting a losing battle at the moment unfortunately.
