How can I support teenage son who has cirrhosis of the liver due to AIH?

We nearly lost him recently due to this condition, but no one seems able to give us any real idea what the prognosis is for him long term. He's depressed as he's not able to attend college or have a normal teenage life due to no energy and poor concentration. He doesn't think he's going to survive this condition and its really difficult knowing how to support him.

Check our Children's Liver Disease Foundation on Health Unlocked and:

childliverdisease.org and cldf-focus.org/. My 17 daughter has AIH, we too nearly lost her, 14 months later doing much better, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. :0)
