Can I use bonjela if I have cirrhosis of the liver?

Hi, was diagnosed with liver disease in January and I noticed when I was about uo treat a tongue ulcer with bonjela that there was a warning on the tube that can cause liver damage in children. Does this apply to people who suffer from my condition?. Thanks in advance. X

Have a look at this from Telford NHS item 29 in the Table - looks OK as far as the Over The Counter restrictions say. But obviously please check yourself and your pharmacist just to be sure!

I have had a look through it and I think I will be fine to use a small amount for now and ask at an appointment I have on Monday. I could usually just ignore it but its the underside of my tongue rubbing on a broken tooth and hard to eat.
